Like a good pair of jeans, this one’s a classic for a reason. Our smooth sippin’ Blanco is double distilled for an exceptional taste that can be enjoyed neat or mixed into a cocktail.

OUR STORY

Spanish for “Two Cousins,” Dos Primos was dreamed up by cousins Jeff Worn and Thomas Rhett, who wanted to create a tequila that blended Mexican tradition with southern sensibility.

HOMEGROWN IN MEXICO

Dos Primos is crafted from a blend of agave from Los Altos and the valley area of Jalisco. Together, agave from these two altitudes creates an undeniably smooth tequila, made for sippin’.

OVEN-COOKED

After they’re hand-harvested using traditional coas, the agave hearts go right into a stainless-steel oven to slow cook until the sugars reach just the right temperature to make fine tequila.

MILLED WITH CARE

From the oven, the freshly-cooked agave hearts are taken to a mill, where they are shredded and gently pressed to extract the rich agave juice that will become our premium tequila.

HEIRLOOM FERMENTATION

Using a family-secret heirloom yeast strain, the agave juice is fermented, converting the sugars into a base alcohol for distillation.

DOUBLE-DISTILLED

Finally, Dos Primos Tequila is double-distilled for clarity. Using a delicate balance of heat and pressure, this final step gives us the strong, flavorful spirit we love to share.

AGING

Our premium Reposado is aged at least six months in used bourbon barrels ’til it finds that perfect balance of oak and spice.
